Spring 2015
is in full effect, which means it’s time to change your look to reflect the bright colors and easygoing nature of the season. Here are some of the makeup trends you should be following now to feel especially chic in spring!

I love the fresh face look, natural and subtile. I call it the Joe Fresh look! It has always been my signature makeup: black mascara, bronzer on cheeks and nude lips.

Smokey eye

The smokey eye is suitable for a day or night look in the spring. This dark and smoldering makeup look, when paired with a barely-there lipstick, makes you look elegant effortless. Your eyes should be complimented with dark, full brows to be completely on trend for spring. Let’s make Cara jealous of your brows!

Nude lipstick

Lipsticks in shades of light brown, beige and translucent pinks are all the rage this spring. Trace your lips with a liner that is similar in color to your lipstick before using a lip pencil to enhance your lips with a hue that brings out the shape of your pout. You can finish the look with a nude gloss to bring even more attention to your pout. Nude glosses can also be worn alone during the spring season. This is especially chic on days when you’re wearing very little makeup.

Pastel eyes and cheeks

Eye shadows and blushes in shades of white, rose, coral and light green are the perfect way to make your spring outfits stand out. These light shades are a little whimsical and give you a polished look without appearing too made-up. Chanel has a number of pastel palettes for your cheeks and eyes, as well as a selection of bold lip colors that pair well with your demure blush or eye shadow.

Colored eyeliner

Eyeliner in shades of blue and green are taking the runway this spring. These liners bring out the natural shape of your eyes and can easily be the star of your makeup look. You can wear these bright eyes with a nude gloss and natural blush or bronzer.

Bronzed skin

The right bronzer can keep you looking your best all spring long. Bronzer is a great way to give your skin a healthy glow, especially when you apply it in the places where the sunlight naturally hits your face (i.e. your chin, the balls of your cheeks and your forehead). If you have warm undertones, choose a bronzer that has peach undertones. For cool skin tones, a bronzer with true pink flecks is ideal. Bronzers from Dior will likely be among your favorite product selections when it comes to bronzers for spring.
